Planning for Baby's homecoming? I help parents, and the family dog survive the early years.
Not so long ago if a dog was badly behaved, or a nuisance around Mom and Baby, it would be sent out into the yard or off to live with Grandma.
Thankfully, times have changed. I know your dog is a much loved family member, and there's a lot we can do to help them adjust.
We no longer rely on outdated practices such as sniffing the hospital blanket, or tossing treats into the baby's crib. Instead I support and mentor new families through the process of developing their perfect homecoming plan, and help identify potential challenges that can be avoided with a little foresight and TLC.
Having a plan in place, a dog who's developing the new skills necessary for a life with an active toddler, and access to ongoing support for when things get tough (that's what I'm here for), you'll make the adventures of parenting with a dog and toddler look easy.
